Sallie Herson
My world shifted when my mother, Sallie Herson, suffered a devastating stroke. An activist and force of nature on the frontlines of 1970s human rights, she suddenly needed support for basic movements. Watching her struggle with traditional mobility aids transformed my life's work. In this age of innovation, why were we still relying on such outdated tools?
