Glow Guide Donations
My Dad dropped out of high school to enlist during World War II. He credits the Navy with giving him the confidence and funding to pursue a high school diploma, then a bachelors degree, and ultimately a medical degree! He encouraged me to serve.
I served for 3 years on Active Duty then worked almost 7 years for the Veterans Health Administration. While those were challenging years, many veterans have done much more for our country. It was hard to watch my Mom decline with dementia and have her go to a home. She was a postal worker who suffered with arthritis. We lost her about 4 years ago. Mom gets up in the middle of the night. I worried about her tripping. I had to wait several seconds holding down the button to turn it on, but then the light is so bright! Mom is up and around safer because the light comes on automatically. She couldn't even find her cane in the dark before Glow Guide, the blue light really helps. Wish I had this years ago.
