My Dad dropped out of high school to enlist during World War II. He credits the Navy with giving him the confidence and funding to pursue a high school diploma, then a bachelors degree, and ultimately a medical degree! He encouraged me to serve.
I served for 3 years on Active Duty then worked almost 7 years for the Veterans Health Administration. While those were challenging years, many veterans have done much more for our country.
